He then attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and graduated in 1984 with a B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Territo was accepted into the Doctorate program of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia in the fall of 1984. Dr. Territo then graduated with his Doctorate in 1988. Upon graduation, Dr. Territo accepted a primary care position in South Boston, Virginia for one year. In 1989, Dr. Territo returned to Pennsylvania and accepted an associate position with The Brande-Saad Group. In 1994, he became a partner in the group and in 2010, he became full owner of Territo Optometry. He has been in practice continuously for over 35 years. His focus of practice is primary and comprehensive eye care. This includes diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other conditions that affect the visual system. Dr. Territo also performs contact lens fittings, pre and post op cataract exams, and pre and post op LASIK care. Outside of optometry, Dr. Territo’s interests are bird watching, hunting and fishing. Dr. Territo is active in his church, St. Thomas the Apostle, where he is on the finance council and serves as lector. He is a board member of the Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame. Currently, he serves as President of the Tussey Mountain School District Education Foundation.
